Abstract

184,833. Lo Monaco, D. April 7, 1921. Manures.-The process for the treatment of humus with halogen gas, described in Specification 159,481, is applied to other nitrogeneous organic fertilizing materials such as manure, rubbish, refuse, oil seed cakes, ricinus, colza, lemon refuse, ground horn and nails, dried blood, chrysalids, bones, leather chippings, and cloth refuse. The treatment may be carried out in a closed casing fitted with an agitator. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2662/73 and 4103/75.
