Cigarette-making machines. - A rotary-disc cutter 1 for cutting cigarettes passing through the guide-tube 2 is mounted on a crank-pin 3 on a crank-disc 10, which is mounted on an adjustable pivoted arm on a carriage 9 reciprocated by an eccentric and is rotated by toothed gearing 12, 11. The disc 1 is rotated by an endless belt 5 passing round pulleys 7, 4 and a spring pulley 8, or by a friction wheel or toothed wheel running inside a stationary friction ring or internally toothed wheel.
