Abstract

183,624. Saive, J., and Baurain, L. May 13, 1921. Spring wheels.-A spring wheel consists of a felloe 7 of wood or other material supported on a rubber cushion 5 and guided between discs 3 secured to the hub 1. The inner and outer peripheries of the cushion 5 are gripped between plates 4, 6 respeetively, the plates 6 also engaging the inner periphery of the felloe 7. Bolts 32 and sleeves 71 either loosely fitting or screwed on the bolts strengthen the discs 3 and co-operate with leather or other sleeves 72 in holes in the felloe 7 to drive the latter. A packing 70 may be used to exclude oil, dust, and moisture.
