Controlling-apparatus, arrangements of hand and transmission gear in conjunction with.-The brake-pedal 14 is connected to the rear-wheel brake-shafts 10 through linkage and an intermediate shaft 6 mounted at its ends in ball-andsocket joints 1, 2, one joint being on the frame- and the other on the transmission-shaft casing, so as to permit of relative movement between the frame and the axle without affecting the brake-mechanism.
