Abstract
182,492. Bech, F. July 1, 1921, [Convention date]. Chucks. - Jaws foi self-centring chucks are rendered adjustable for wear by providing the usual stepped jaw 1 with a similarly-shaped central portion 2 moved by means of an eccentric. The portion 2 is guided by a cylindrical rib 3, and is provided with a slot 9 engaged by an eccentric 8 formed integral with a bolt 4. The latter is provided with a circular head 5 and a similarly shaped nut, both being recessed into the jaw, and adjustment and locking is effected by means of a spanner engaging holes 7 in the head and nut.
