Hoods ; bodies. - Consists of a motor vehicle which may be used as an open touring car, as a car having windows totally surrounding the body, or as a totally enclosed two or four seater car. The body 1 has side windows 2 extending from the screen 3 to the back of the front seats, side windows 5 extending 'therefrom to the back of the body, a rear window 6, and also windows 7, 8 at the back of the front seats, receses being provided into which the windows may be lowered. The hood 9 is formed of flexible material wound on a roller 10 pivoted on links 11 connected to the body by short links 12, so that when the links are doubled one upon the other the roller 10 can be concealed in a recess 14. The hood may be used to extend over the whole body as shown in Fig. 3, or over the front seats only when the vehicle is used as a two-seater. The hood may be supported on arched transverse sticks, and the roller made barrel-shaped and of the same curvature.
