180,920. Peart, F. M. June 27, 1921. Reservoir pens. - In a reservoir pen of the nib - retracting type, a detachable nib unit is provided at the lower end b<1> of the reciprocating stem b. In the construction shown, a short tubular coupling d, d', of vulcanite or other material, is screwed upon the end of the stem against a washer g. The nib f is frictionally held in position by a feed bar e provided with a groove j disposed in alignment with a groove h in the coupling through which the ink flows from the reservoir.
