Induction, preventing and minimizing. - In order to prevent the building up of high-frequency currents in telegraph, telephone, and power lines due to electromagnetic waves, the line 5, 6 is provided with inductance coils 17 shunted by resistances 18. Small condensers 20 may also be arranged to allow high-frequency currents to leak to earth through resistances 21.
