Abstract

180,037. Harroun, W. L. Feb. 16, 1921. Cistern discharge valve.- A discharge-valve of a flushing- cistern is fitted with a stem 10 on the lower end of which is fitted adjustably a disc 9. During discharge the falling water strikes the disc, which guides the valve to correct seating on the flare end of the flush pipe. The top of the valve is held between a collar 10<1> and sleeve 11 on the rod 10.
