Abstract

179,803. Hawthorn, J. H. April 23, 1921. Air-heating stoves.-An air-heating gas-stove comprises an air chamber having narrow tubular ends 7, 10 and an intermediate enlarged portion 8, 9 of double conical formation; this chamber is formed of glazed earthenware or ceramic material and in the form shown is in two parts. A gasring burner 4 surrounds the lower part of the chamber. Instead of the openings 13 in the upper part of the outer casing 1, a flue may be provided to carry off combustion products.
