Abstract

179,793. Oldham, G., and Oldham, J. April 18, 1921. Connections.-The terminals of a galvanic battery are moulded solid into the lid or cover of the case of the battery. One of the terminals may be of circular, square, or rectangular shape and extend right round the battery so as to engage a switch in any position. The annular terminal a is moulded solid into the lid b of the case c. and the other terminal or stud d is also moulded into the lid at the centre of the ring a. The terminals are connected through the lid by strips or bars g, h to the electrodes e, f respectively.
