Abstract

C l i p brackets, securing. - In a curtain-rod supporting-device of the type described in Specification 23536/08, and comprising a boss, with a serrated base, secured to a wall &c. by a central fixing screw and threaded to receive a rodcarrying sleeve, the base 2 of the boss 1 is provided with a radially knurled raised rim 3. As shown in Fig. 2, the rod-carrying sleeve 8 engages a spigot 12 on an angle-piece 10 which is provided with a screwed socket 11 for engagement with the boss 1, the axis of the sleeve 8 being at a right or other angle with the axis of the boss. In a further modification, shown in Fig. 3, the sleeve 8 engages a threaded sleeve 14 secured in a socket in an extension 13 of the boss 1 by the fixing-screw 6.
