[Class 52 (iii)] A stand for a pivoted article such as an electric heater 1 has detachable cross feet 4, 5 shaped to meet with the bent main support 3 when collapsed for packing &c., and secured together by a bolt and wing nut 7, 8. The support 3 is formed with eyes to receive the pivots of the article. It may be shaped to conform with the contour of the article. The stand may be made of strip metal or of synthetic resin.
