Plug couplings combinedwith switches. - A plug coupling comprises an oscillatory member e, provided with sockets j, and carrying movable contacts f adapted to coact with fixed contacts b on the base a. When the plug i is pushed into the sockets j, it rocks the member e so as to engage the contacts f with the contacts b, and when it is removed, a spring l disengages them. A third peg h<1> may engage an earthing socket m and simultaneously ensure correct polarity. Fig. 5 shows how the plug leads p may be gripped and connected to the respective plug members r.
