177,478. Rose, W. H., (Administrator of Rose, H.), and Rose Bros. (Gainsborough), Ltd. Dec. 31, 1920.. Packing by wrapping-up.-Relates to apparatus for wrapping blocks of chocolate &c. of the kind described in Specifications 20183/00, 6769/05, and 177,278, and consists in means for interlocking the last horizontal top fold of the wrapper with the end folds. The articles are held between the sides 50 of a mould-wheel, and a folding-device mounted on a plunger descends and yielding fingers 68 make the end folds, pressing them on to a plate 91. A blade 78 is also yieldingly and pivotally mounted on the cross-head 69 carrying the fingers 68, and acts to fold a projecting part 79, Fig. 4, of the end 57 of the wrapper on to the side of the article. The side 50 of the mould is shorter than the article, so that the side portions 78<a> of the blade 78 can engage the projecting part of the wrapper.
