Abstract

176,965. Saunders, S. E., and Goatley, F. Jan. 18, 1921. Sectional vessels.-The boat is hinged so as to fold amidships, both the fore and the aft portions terminating in abutting bulkheads d, e the upper parts of which form a single thwart f. Means are employed to lock the parts a, b when extended, and the hinge-pins g are removable to enable the fore and aft parts to be used as separate units. The two parts can be folded together so as to' constitute a closed case or receptacle which can be used for packing purposes.
