Turning. - Lathe tools are mounted in the slot I of a swivelling tool-post A and are held .therein between a screw G and a supporting-sleeve B, which is feathered to the tool-post. The sleeve is elevated by means of the knurled nut C which beds on the sliderest, and a distance-sleeve D is fitted between the tool-post and the nut to prevent ingress of swarf. The apparatus is held down on the slide-rest by the screw F.
