Abstract

175,243. Krupp Akt.-Ges., F. Feb. 9, 1921, [Convention date]. Aligning for impression.-Relates to aligning- guides for type-lever machines, of the kind in which lugs on the type-heads enter with slight clearance a guide-slot, and consists in providing lugs a<2>, Fig. 2, and a guide-slot b<1> of arcuate form. The arrangement improves the alignment since the permissible lateral deviations of the type-levers A, determined by the clearance h, is uniform for all the type-levers. Specifications 2205/07, 4265/07, and 4069/15 are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes an arrangement in which the guide-slot b<1>, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), consists of a vertical part, and inclined parts that are parallel to the extreme type-levers when in the impression position, the type-levers A being provided with a lug a<2> of the same. shape as the guide-slot; the middle and extreme type-levers have equal clearances h<1>, h<2>, h3 respectively, which clearances are slightly less than the clearance h<4> of an intermediate type-lever. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
