Couplings.-An earthing-clip for a conductor 5 consists of a terminalshank 4 screwing into a slotted bridge 2, and a flexible metal band or wire 3 passing through the slots and encircling a pipe or rod 1 which constitutes the earth. The band is tightened round the pipe by turning the terminal-shank. One end of the band may be permanently attached to the bri'dge.
