Abstract

174,425. Tilbury, W., and Reeves, W. J. Oct. 21, 1920. Forced ventilation.-In a watercooling system for an internal-combustion engine, the circulation is assisted by the ejector action of exhaust gases discharged through a nozzle g into a right-angle pipe e by which the cooling water is returned to a radiator c. The gases entering the radiator are conveyed by a pipe i to the main exhaust pipe b. An additional ejector may be attached to the exhaust pipe for ventilating.
