Abstract

171,532. Murray, J. Sept. 6, 1920. Fixing by screwed sockets wiih lug attachments.-The handle of a brush, mop, or the like is fixed in an internally screwed socket-piece 5, having lugs 6 between its ends, and sufficiently near one end to enable this end to be inserted in the socket of a brush or like stock 8 of comparatively small thickness. The socket is fixed to the stock by screws through the lugs 6, and the screw-threaded end 11 of the handle 10 is screwed into it.
