Reversible handles; fixing by screwed sockets and tangs.-Brushes, plate-polishers, and the like having removable and reversible handles. fixed by a.'screwed pin projecting from the handle and a corresponding metal socket fixed in each end of the brush &c. stock, have a screw formed with a central flange which butts against the end of the handle and against the end of the metal socket. As shown, screwed sockets x, y, which may be made of open-ended metal tube, are fixed in the ends of the brush stock B, and a metal pin E having a central flange D and a projecting screw C is fixed in the end of the handle A, so as to butt against the end of the handle, the other side engaging the .face of the socket when screwed in place. The pin E may be screw-threaded.
