Abstract

129,445. Craig, H. La V. July 11, 1918. Brushes; brush stocks.-The handle 10, Fig. 1, of a brush for cleaning rifles is bent so as to form two portions 11, 17 substantially at right-angles, and has 'brushes at each end, one 18 being cylindrical for cleaning the bore &c., and the other being specially shaped for cleaning the receiver. In cross-section, the handle is of the shape shown in Fig. 3, having one side 12 flat and the opposite side 13 convex. In the brush at the end of the portion 11 of the handle, the bristles 14 terminate at one side in a plane parallel to the axis of the portion 11, at the opposite side in a convex arch 15, at the outer end 16 in a plane at right-angles to the axis of the portion 11, and between the planes 14, 16 in a bevelled or inclined plane 19.
