Abstract

418,871. Brush handles. GROOME, R. C., 49, Richmond Road, Newport, Monmouthshire. Nov. 21, 1933, No. 32391. [Class 61 (i).] A brush has the handle in two portions, a stem A to which the brush head is attached and an extension handle E with a socket D having pairs of longitudinal and transverse holes C to receive spring forks B on the end of the stem A enabling the latter to be fixed on the handle E extending forwardly or transversely thereof. Brush head K may be pivoted to the stem A and notched at N for angular adjustment and the stem A may have an opening H to retain the corners of a cleaning cloth Q. Fig. 4 shows a modified socket connector R with angularly arranged holes S to receive the stem A and in another modification, Fig. 5, the brush stem is received in a socket U pivoted at V to the handle socket W.
