Frames and the like for holding a n d supporting viands while cooking.-A grid for supporting viands in cooking-vessels comprises a central perforated frame a, having extensions a<2> to which are pivoted extension arms c, each having two legs d. The arms c house in the spaces between adjacent extensions a<2>. Studs c<3> on the arms c pass through the extensions a<2> and are loosely riveted therein, thus forming the pivots. In a modificaticn, the central frame consists of two crossed sheet-metal strips, riveted together, to which the arms, also of sheet metal, are pivoted, the extiemities of the arms and frame members being turned downward to form feet. The members are each stiffened by a longitudinal corrugation.
