289,684. Dehn, r. B., (Thompson Products, Inc.). Aug. 15, 1927. Axles.-Front axles are constructed of two channel irons 2, Fig. 2, welded at the edges, the ends 8 bent solid and bored to receive the pivots of the stub axles. The channel irons 2 are preferably rolled, but they may also be made from two sheets of metal, in which case platforms 17, Fig. 17, are formed to support the springs. The meeting edges of the sections may be in a horirontal or in a vertical plane.
