Abstract

Plates or dishes E are supported upon carriers each comprising an annular side wall A bent outwards to form a rabbet b to fit over the upper edge of the article below, and sheet metal walls C, D forming a hot water container. The upper edges of the parts A, C, D are curled over a strengthening wire a. A part F is snapped into position over a beading a<1> or into a groove. A filling hole H and a cap h allow access to the container. The plate E may be dispensed with. The upper-most lid is similar except that it is not adapted to carry a plate or dish and may be formed with a flat top.
