Abstract

170,363. Fade, T. W. July 15, 1920. Pivoting - adjustments. -For holding a door, such as a cabin door, in any adjusted position, a sleeve E is slidably mounted on a squared or similarly-shaped part of the pivot G, the lower part of the sleeve being formed with ratchet teeth engaging similar teeth on the lower hinge socket D. The members D, E are maintained in engagement by a spring F so that the door is held in an adjusted position until pressure is applied to move the door into another position.
