Spring wheels with sectional outer guided members.-A tread band for use with pneumatic tyres comprises a continuous metal ring f, Fig. 1, having holes through which a project stud e on sectional metal plates d spaced apart. The studs e may be integral with the plates d, or may be attached by rivets or screws. When attached by screws the studs and holes in the ring f are so formed that the studs cannot rotate.
