Abstract

303,396. Baggstrom Patent Motor Rim Co., Ltd., and Baggstrom, E. L. Oct. 1, 1927. Tyre attachments to rims. - Relates to wheel tyre rims of the kind formed in two abutting circumferential parts A, B one part being removable after releasing a series of spring catches D pivotally mounted on one part B and engaging holes in the other part A. According to the invention, lugs C are attached to one part B and overlap transversely the periphery of the other part A, and the pivoted spring tongues D are associated with the lugs and serve to clamp the part A between the lugs and the spring tongues. In a modification, lugs C extend on both sides of the rim A.
