Cooking-stoves; boilers.-In gas and like cooking-stoves, of the type comprising a burner chamber A having in combination an oven with double walLs D, D' forming flues, a hot-water system is arranged comprising a water-tank E in the top flue connected to circulating-pipes F. G with a number of inclined connecting-pipes. c, d, e, f, g arranged in the back flue. A coil may be substituted for the inclined pipes, and the flue space around the pipes is preferably packed with heat conducting and absorbing material such as metal shavings, wire, or gauze. Combustion products may be admitted to the oven by rotating a plate m which normally covers holes j, k in the oven bottom. The air admission to the burners R is preferably controlled in the manner described in Specification 167,730.
