Abstract

165,281. Sullivan, H. W., and Joseph, J. April 29, 1920. Condensers.-An adjustable air condenser H, of the type comprising intercalated sets of vanes, is combined with a condenser F of fixed capacity equal to or slightly less than the maximum capacity of the condenser H. An additional condenser G of fixed capacity equal to twice that of the condenser F may also be provided, the condenser F, G being mounted on an ebonite plate E supported by rods D from the cover plate B of the apparatus. Switches are provided for throwing either or both of the condensers F, G in parallel with the condenser H.
