Abstract

255,255. Cohen, S. Aug. 29, 1925. Condensers.-In a variable condenser with a straight line frequency characteristic the movable plates are semi-circular and mounted concentrically, the stationary plates being shaped to give the desired variation. The stationary plates are carried in end posts 8, 9 mounted between insulators 10, 11, 12, 14 which are supported by upper and lower spaced plates 1, 2. The movable plates are carried by a spindle 21, and are separated by spacers 22.
