Abstract

225,313. Worthington, W. S. Sept. 12,. 1923. Receiving sets, construction of. -A fixed condenser is mounted in an insulating box A containing a pair of plugs projecting from one surface of the box and a pair of sockets mounted in another surface of the box. The plugs and sockets may be formed at the ends of rods B, to wihich opposite sides of the condenser are connected. By means of the plugs, the condenser may be removably mounted in sockets on the panel of a wireless receiving set, while another condenser or a resistance, such as a grid leak, may be plugged into the sockets on the condenser box. The. resistance D, Fig. 4, may be mounted in a box provided with plugs, one of which is connected to one end of the resistance, while the other end of the resistance is connected to a terminal C on the box.
