Multiple fastenings for motor vehicle hoods.-A fastening-device for the hoods of automobiles is arranged in the inside and comprises a bar a slidable in guides i adjacent to an angle-iron at the edge of one hood part and carrying shaped hook members b to engage an angle-iron at the edge of the other hood part, whereby these parts are drawn together and secured. The bar a is moved longitudinally by a link d from a crank e which is operated from the exterior by its feathered and jointed spindle f adapted to be pushed up through the hood and turned over to form a lever handle for turning. A spring g controls the bar a, and guidie pins h bring the hood parts into meeting position.
