Abstract
163,636. Parsons, O. H. Oct. 5, 1920. Tidal and wave energy, utilizing.-In apparatus for generating power from wave and tidal motions of the type in which a double-toothed float-operated rack 3 drives a shaft through the medium of gear-wheels and oppositely-acting clutches, the rack is provided with a central opening accommodating a fixed guide member 4, and is connected to the float 1 by a link 2.
