Abstract

163,223. Anderson, J. June 22, 1920. Gas meters.-An improved gas-way for leading the gas to and from the measuring-chamber of a dry gas meter comprises a casting a, Fig. 1, of rectangular section having an opening b at one end and terminating at the other end in a dome c, the face being provided with an opening d and spigot e, both concentric with the dome c. The casting is attached to the gas meter by means of screws h, Fig. 4, passing through holes g in lugs f. The end formed with the opening b is soldered into an opening i on the measuring- chamber while the spigot e fits into an opening l formed in a box j which is attached to the division plate k of the meter and leads to the valve mechanism. Specifications 13025/15 and 13026/15 are referred to.
