Abstract

144,136. Blum, H. Aug. 6, 1919. Gas meters.-In a fluid meter of the type in which the pistons 13, Fig. 1, are connected to a wobbler plate 16 which operate the rotary distributing-valve, the valve 40, Fig. 5, is positioned in a chamber, the outer wall of which consists of a filtering-screen 35 and bears against the top and bottom of the chamber, flexible packing 44 being provided. The stroke of the pistons is adjusted by means of an adjustable stud 18, on which the wobbler plate is mounted by means of an universal joint 17. The stud 18 can be operated by a key plate 58, Fig. 6, a fragile plate 60 being provided to indicate tampering.
