708,047. Manually-actuated valves. COOKSON, E. Nov. 16, 1951, No. 1732/53. Divided out of 707,988, [Group XXVIII]. Class 135. A rotary valve is actuated through gearing 14, 16, the gear 14 being carried by the valve 13 and the gear 16 being provided on a handle 15a which engages in, but is removable from, a socket in the valve casing. The handle 15a is cranked but may be T-shaped and universally coupled to the gear it carries. The gear 16 may consist of only a few teeth.
