Tubes, water.-A nest of tubes fitted in a boiler flue as described in the parent Specification is fed with water drawn from the warmer part of the boiler by tubes passing through the lower and cooler part of the boiler. The coiled tubes d, d<1> are separately fed with water through tubes e, which pass beneath the flue and then bend upwards at the sides of the flue. The tubes nearest the furnace have fewer turns than those further away. In a modification, straight tubes are connected to a header resting on the flue as described in the parent Specification, the tubes being so arranged as to leave a central space in the flue to provide access for cleaning purposes. Baffles may be placed in the boiler at the outlet ends of the tubes.
