Abstract

160,230. Dawson, J. Dec. 9, 1919. Vehicle windows.-The windows of a motorcar body, having nine or ten windows, are so arranged that all but one pair can be readily removed to give an open body. The second pair of windows b from the front are permanently fixed. The first pair a slide horizontally behind the windows b, after the fashion described in Specification 4558/05. The third pair c are hinged so as to open outwards and rest on a ledge beneath the window b. The fourth pair d can be removed bodily and placed in a box at the rear of the car provided with a hinged lid H, Fig. 2. The back windows (or window) E are also hinged at the bottom so as to fold down into the same box.
