Abstract

159,747. Garvie, W. Jan. 30, 1920. Hinged-sliding windows.-One or both sliding sashes of a window have hinges, one leaf of each hinge being provided with a T-shaped projection 2 slidably engaged in a slotted angle plate 3 fixed to the frame. The bead on the opening side is hinged. The slot in the plate 3 is enlarged at the base to facilitate insertion of the projection 2. The hinged sash is balanced on the hinged side only.
