Heating by electricity.-A portable flow heater consists of a carbon electrode D spaced centrally in a tubular metallic electrode A by means of discs B, C of insulating-material. The electrode D may have a reduced portion at one end passing through the disc C. Several heaters may be connected in series. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 6065/10, 22150/14, and 9584/15.
