Hair-curling appliances.-A support a upon which the hair is coiled preparatory to moist heat treatment is of tapered form, and provided with fine spiral or circular grooves b to prevent the hair from slipping down the support. A tapered pin e, with a slit e<1> in which a binding tape may be engaged, is inserted in a recess c at one end of the support, so that by rotation of the pin the coil of hair may be tightened.
