Shields for attachment to; aiming-rests for; carrying; piling arms, means for; sights.-Consists in a detachable aiming-rest or shield 26 which, after being threaded over the barrel or casing 18, is rotated to position it between a pair of lugs 21, 20 and then locked against rotation by a catch 30. The lugs 21, 20, which receive respectively the front sling swivel 22 and the stacking swivel 25, are carried on a band 15 which is clamped round the casing by a screw 19 and carries the foresight 14.
