Drawings to Specification Water-cranes.-To prevent damage by the freezing of the water in a water-crane, the pillar and base-plate are constructed of reinforced concrete. The reinforcement may consist of longitudinal metal rods with transverse rings or a helical winding, of a flanged iron pipe, perforated or not, or of expanded metal. The pillar is slightly tapered and preferably fluted, and rests on a reinforced-concrete base.
