Abstract

Fountains.-A sound distributor comprises a fountain basin f, arranged opposite the horn of a talking machine d and supplied with water or other liquid by means of a pump g. In a modification, the horn, which serves also as a fountain basin, is inverted and projects through the ceiling from an upper floor. Jets of water issue from a pipe coiled round the horn. In another modification, the water may flow as a cascade across the mouth of the horn. The flow of water and the talking machine may be controlled so that both come into operation and stop together.
