Abstract

Folding and collapsible vehicles; perambulators. -A collapsible perambulator comprises a double shaft composed of detachable parts which can be combined, one with a collapsible seat frame to form a chair and the other with the wheels to form a stool. The shaft comprises sections h, i, connected to a U-piece k and to collars on the axle c. The seat consists of wire frames r, s, t and has projecting arms m to which the shaft is attached. The frames s, t unfold to allow carriage of bulky articles. A footrest p attached to the seat forms a support for the same when detached from the shaft, the seat having a clip x to receive the U-piece k as a second support to form a chair. The shaft sections h, i can be threaded through holes in the wheel a and screwed into the wheel b to form a stool. The wheels are detachable.
