Abstract

Creel arrangements; tension arrangements.- One or more rotatable flexible wafers A are adjustably mounted to bear against the end or point, or end portion, of the peg or spindle on which the supply cop is mounted in winding and other machines, so that the yarn, as it is drawn off, passes between the wafers and the peg. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that the wafers may be arranged at or near the end of the peg so that their free ends touch each other and the yarn passes between them; and that when a single wafer is employed it may be conical with a central aperture so as to embrace the spindle, a slit being provided for threading purposes.
