Dash-boards.-A dash-board has a central metal part 1, Figs. 1 and 2, with a sloping foot-plate 7 and a surrounding wooden frame 6 fitting in grooves 5 and shaped to fit the body of the car. In a modification, the vertical part 1, Fig. 5, of the dash is cut away and apertures 17 are provided at the base of the foot-plate 18 for the passage of hot-air for warming the driver.
